That's why we've committed ourselves to supporting dog charities and fundraising initiatives that help our four-legged friends in need.
In July, our mother brand WorkQC Group, donated a generous amount of money to Animal Kingdom Foundation (AKF), a diligent and dedicated dog foundation in the Philippines. Back then, part of the team managers and heads of WorkQC Group traveled to the Philippines to give this gift in person to the foundation's managers.
Let us introduce a little bit of AKF. They are a non-profit animal welfare non-government organization (NGO) committed to improving the living and welfare conditions of animals in the country and eliminating the cruel trade of dog meat for human consumption.
Their work consists from investigation, rescue, and prosecution of the dog meat traders, to the care and rehabilitation of the rescued animals in the AKF rescue centre. They culminate all their efforts with the adoption of the rescues, trying to write always a happy ending for each rescued furry friend.
This donation will go toward providing medical care, food, shelter, and love to countless dogs waiting for their forever homes. We believe in the transformative power of kindness and hope that our contribution will make a difference in the lives of these animals.
